High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens is being sued by a former business partner for his help in launching her career.

The lawsuit claims that Johnny Vieira and Hudgens entered into an agreement in May 2005 to launch her career, and agreed to "share equally" in the profits.

However, after High School Musical became a hit, Hudgens dumped Vieira, and they entered into a settlement agreement. Veira is suing Hudgens for more than US$5 million, plus punitive damages.
